No More Room in Hell 2 - Brooklyn Heights (WIP)

Brooklyn Heights is based on the area of the same name located on the opposite riverbank of Lower Manhattan, on the other side of the Brooklyn Bridge. It was a real joy to "consolidate" areas of the real Brooklyn into something more interesting while keeping the vibe of the real locations. It is a huge map that requires a lot more art than NotLD, and as such is only about 70% complete at this time.
This map was first started in 2017 but went on the backburner for a couple of years as we focused our efforts on Night of the Living Dead as our first map. It's been worked on by myself and two other artists who have all rotated around the map in various areas to do passes on certain things. I've tried to focus my screenshots here specifically on Level Art work that I did for this map.

Players can explore randomized underground tunnels, sewers, subways stations, rooftops, backyards, garages, shops, a courthouse, a hotel, multiple apartment buildings, a pier, a warehouse, a freeway, and a lot more. We are only just starting our third pass of the map in adding branding and details, there are many areas that have not yet had proper detailing or decals, but I will use this album to catalog the progress.

We use modular kits for all of our structures, as well as a mix of custom art and marketplace content for things like props. A long time was spent developing the tech that allows us to randomly spawn numerous interiors such as the Brownstone houses, apartments, and offices. Any building that is missing windows has a randomly spawned interior (which do not show up in-editor). The map has a ton of areas to explore, almost every building has an interior and there are numerous underground and above ground paths to navigate the map. There are numerous elements to the map that are randomized that make this a unique experience for players even at this early stage of development.
